Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the Union Catholic Vikings (Scotch Plains, NJ) and the visiting Johnson Crusaders (Clark, NJ), saw Union Catholic's baseball squad knock off Johnson by a count of 5-3.
Coming up next, the Vikings play the St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ) in a non-league battle, on Sunday, April 21. Union Catholic will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Falcons enter the battle with a 2-9 record after their 16-3 non-league loss to Don Bosco Prep (Ramsey, NJ).
The Crusaders now possess a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Montclair for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Johnson will play a Mounties squad coming off a 9-2 league win over Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Mounties record now stands at 7-3.
