The Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles baseball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Varsity Opponent to 1 in the Fighting Eagles non-league victory on Friday.
The Fighting Eagles (1-6) will now prepare for their match against Calumet New Tech (Gary, IN). The Warriors go into the Greater Southshore match with a 2-6 record. In their last match, Calumet New Tech gained a win over 21st Century Charter (Gary, IN), 13-3, in a non-league match.
