The Standish-Sterling Panthers crushed the host Millington Cardinals baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beaverton for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 20. Standish-Sterling will face a Beavers team coming off a 7-1 league win over Roscommon (Roscommon, MI). The Beavers record now stands at 4-0.
Next, the Cardinals face the Birch Run Panthers (Birch Run, MI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 22. Millington will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record.
