The Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers got by the visiting Springfield Southeast Spartans baseball team by a count of 6-5 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Hilltoppers now possess a 14-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lanphier for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 20. Mt. Pulaski will face a Lions team coming off a 11-0 league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Lions record now stands at 2-13.
Next, the Spartans face the Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 20. Springfield Southeast will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record. The Crusaders enter the bout with a 4-9 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Cornerstone Christian (Bloomington, IL).
