The West Washington Senators crushed the visiting New Washington Mustangs baseball team by a count of 17-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Senators now possess a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Borden for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 23. West Washington will face a Braves team coming off a 13-5 non-league loss to Tecumseh (Lynnville, IN). The Braves record now stands at 6-6.
Next, the Mustangs face the Henryville Hornets (Henryville, IN) in a Southern bout, on Monday, April 22. New Washington will attempt to move on its 1-6 season record. The Hornets enter the bout with a 1-6 record after their 6-4 non-league loss to Shawe Memorial (Madison, IN).
