The Oakwood Comets nudged the visiting Salt Fork Storm baseball team by a tally of 5-4 in Friday's league bout.

The Comets now hold a 8-11 record. They take the field next when they host Reed-Custer for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 20. Oakwood will face a Comets team coming off a 4-2 league loss to Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Comets record now stands at 6-8.
