The Saugerties Sawyers baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the host Rondout Valley Ganders to 5 in the Sawyers league victory on Friday.
The Sawyers (3-2) will now prepare for their match against Pine Plains (Pine Plains, NY). The Bombers go into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Pine Plains edged Dover (Dover Plains, NY), 10-0, in a league match.
