In Friday's non-league battle, the host Basis Independent Silicon Valley Bobcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Prospect Panthers.
The Bobcats (5-5) will now prepare for their battle against Milpitas (Milpitas, CA). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 9-13 record.
Next, the Panthers clash with the Piedmont Hills Pirates (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton battle, on Tuesday, April 23. Prospect will attempt to advance on its 6-13 season record. The Pirates come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 3-2 league win over Pioneer (San Jose, CA).
