In Friday's non-league test, the host Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-9 victory over the Bryan Station Defenders.
The Bulldogs now have a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cooper for a non-league test on Saturday, April 20. Paul Laurence Dunbar will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to Roger Bacon (Cincinnati, OH). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-6.
In their next game, the Defenders face the Frederick Douglass Broncos (Lexington, KY) in a non-league test, on Monday, April 22. Bryan Station will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Broncos come into the test with a 6-7 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to Atherton (Louisville, KY).
