The Monticello Mustangs lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Orange County Fighting Hornets to 1 in the Mustangs league win on Friday.

The Mustangs (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos go into the Jefferson game with a 3-5 record. In their last game, Fluvanna County prevailed over Goochland (Goochland, VA), 12-4, in a non-league game.

The Fighting Hornets (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights go into the Jefferson game with a 2-5 record. In their last game, Charlottesville prevailed over Goochland (Goochland, VA), 13-11, in a non-league game.
