Salem Spartans (Salem, VA) followers exited the stadium content Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the host Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA), 6-4 in a non-league battle.

The Spartans now have a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Glass for a non-league battle on Monday, April 22. Salem will clash with a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to Cave Spring (Roanoke, VA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 1-1.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, April 24. Albemarle will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record.
