Beavercreek Beavers (Beavercreek, OH) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Oakwood Lumberjacks (Dayton, OH), 16-8 in a non-league battle.

The Beavers now have a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pickerington Central for a Region 3 battle on Saturday, April 20. Beavercreek will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 15-4 league win over Newark (Newark, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 7-3.

In their next game, the Lumberjacks clash with the Archbishop Alter Knights (Kettering, OH) in a Region 7 battle, on Monday, April 22. Oakwood will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Knights come into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 9-1 league win over Chaminade Julienne Catholic (Dayton, OH).
