The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Freeman Mavericks (Richmond, VA) and the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), saw Freeman's lacrosse team top Western Albemarle by a margin of 18-6.

The Mavericks (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Collegiate beat Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA), 15-9, in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots enter the Jefferson challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Albemarle was overwhelmed by Salem (Salem, VA), 18-2, in a non-league challenge.
