Utah High School Lacrosse - Wasatch can't get by Maple Mountain

In Friday's league test, the visiting Maple Mountain Golden Eagles lacrosse squad scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Wasatch Wasps.
The Golden Eagles now possess a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Timpview for a 5A Region 7 game on Wednesday, April 24. Maple Mountain will encounter a Thunderbirds team coming off a 16-15 league loss to Cedar Valley (Eagle Mountain, UT). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 2-6.
The Wasps (5-5) will now prepare for their game against Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Dons go into the 5A Region 7 game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Spanish Fork nudged Salem Hills (Salem, UT), 10-9, in a league game.
