In Friday's non-league battle, the host Philip Simmons Iron Horses soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Stall Warriors.
The Iron Horses (15-3) will now prepare for their battle against Battery Creek (Beaufort, SC). The Dolphins come into the AAA Region 8 battle with a 6-9 record. In their last battle, Battery Creek was nudged by Hanahan (Hanahan, SC), 6-1, in a league battle.
The Warriors (6-10) will now prepare for their match against Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC). The Swamp Foxes come into the AAAAA Region 7 match with a 19-2 record. In their last match, Ashley Ridge got by Summerville (Summerville, SC), 5-0, in a league match.
