Parkway Panthers (Rockford, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Adams Central Flying Jets (Monroe, IN), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they host Elida for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Parkway will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-8 league loss to Bath (Lima, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Adams Central falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Flying jets travel to Woodlan (Woodburn, IN) to battle the Warriors in a Allen County challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 6-1. Woodlan won 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against New Haven (New Haven, IN)
