Arcanum Trojans (Arcanum, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Fort Recovery Indians (Fort Recovery, OH), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dixie for a Western Ohio Athletic challenge on Monday, April 22. Arcanum will battle a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Tri-County North (Lewisburg, OH). The Greyhounds record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Fort Recovery falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Indians host Shawnee (Lima, OH) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. Shawnee lost 6-0 in their recent league challenge against Bath (Lima, OH)
