The Charlestown Pirates softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host Borden Braves to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Charlestown moves its record to 10-1 on the year. The Pirates host Seymour (Seymour, IN) to clash with the Owls in a non-league game on Monday, April 22. The Owls come into the game with a record of 4-8. Seymour won 8-5 in their recent non-league game against Decatur Central (Indianapolis, IN)

In their next game, the Braves clash with the South Central Rebels (Elizabeth, IN) in a Southern game, on Tuesday, April 23. Borden will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Rebels come into the game with a 3-8 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Orleans (Orleans, IN).
