The East Jessamine Jaguars softball team scored 16 runs and limited the host Butler Bears to 5 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, East Jessamine improves its record to 12-7 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Tates Creek (Lexington, KY) to clash with the Commodores in a non-league game on Saturday, April 20. The Commodores come into the game with a record of 7-13. Tates Creek lost 15-0 in their recent non-league game against Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY)

In their next game, the Bears clash with the Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 20. Butler will attempt to improve on its 8-9 season record. The Colonels come into the game with a 5-8 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Bracken County (Brooksville, KY).
