With the triumph, Effingham improves its record to 11-5 on the year. The Flaming Hearts host Teutopolis (Teutopolis, IL) to clash with the Wooden Shoes in a non-league game on Monday, April 22. The Wooden Shoes come into the game with a record of 11-11. Teutopolis lost 3-2 in their recent non-league game against Freeburg (Freeburg, IL)

In their next game, the Terriers clash with the O'Fallon Panthers (O'Fallon, IL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 20. Carbondale will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 2-15 record after their 8-3 league loss to Edwardsville (Edwardsville, IL).
