West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 36-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to McNairy Central for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. West Limestone will battle a Bobcats squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-8.

With the loss, Cherokee County falls to 26-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 25-5. Muscle Shoals won 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Decatur (Decatur, AL)
