Coffee County Central Red Raiders (Manchester, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stewarts Creek Red Hawks (Smyrna, TN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Raiders now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Forrest for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Coffee County Central will battle a Rockets squad coming off a 6-5 league win over Community (Unionville, TN). The Rockets record now stands at 13-4.

With the loss, Stewarts Creek falls to 17-9 on the campaign. The Red hawks travel to Cookeville (Cookeville, TN) to battle the Cavaliers in a 4A District 7 challenge on Monday, April 22. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a record of 17-10. Cookeville won 9-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Clay County (Celina, TN)
