The Continental Pirates the host Jefferson Wildcats softball squad by a count of 8-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Pirates meet the Kalida Wildcats (Kalida, OH) in a Putnam County challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Continental will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 13-1 non-league loss to Ayersville (Defiance, OH).
The Wildcats (9-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne Trace (Haviland, OH). The Raiders enter the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Wayne Trace nipped Fairview (Sherwood, OH), 6-0, in a league match.
