Hicksville Aces (Hicksville, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Edgerton Bulldogs (Edgerton, OH), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Aces now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Lincolnview for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Hicksville will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Spencerville (Spencerville, OH). The Lancers record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Edgerton falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Swanton (Swanton, OH) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 7-3. Swanton lost 11-10 in their recent league challenge against Wauseon (Wauseon, OH)
