The Fieldcrest Knights softball team (Minonk, IL), was routed 13-3 in Friday's league test with the host Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley Falcons (Gibson City, IL)

Coming up next, the Falcons encounter the Heyworth Hornets (Heyworth, IL) in a Heart of Illinois test, on Monday, April 22. Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Hornets come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 8-3 non-league win over Eureka (Eureka, IL).

The Knights (1-8) will now prepare for their test against Princeton (Princeton, IL). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Princeton overcame Mendota (Mendota, IL), 21-5, in a league test.
