Fort Atkinson Blackhawks (Fort Atkinson, WI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Stoughton Vikings (Stoughton, WI), 14-11 in a league challenge.

The Blackhawks now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Janesville Parker for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 22. Fort Atkinson will face a Vikings squad coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Elkhorn (Elkhorn, WI). The Vikings record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Stoughton falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Baraboo (Baraboo, WI) to face the Thunderbirds in a Badger - Small challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Thunderbirds enter the challenge with a record of 3-2. Baraboo lost 14-4 in their recent league challenge against Mount Horeb (Mount Horeb, WI)
