Macon-East Montgomery Academy Knights (Cecil, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North River Christian Chargers (Tuscaloosa, AL), 7-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Dale Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. Macon-East Montgomery Academy will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 12-11 league win over Monroe Academy (Monroeville, AL). The Eagles record now stands at 15-13.

With the loss, North River Christian falls to 13-13 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Abbeville Christian Academy (Abbeville, AL) to battle the Generals in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 19. The Generals enter the challenge with a record of 7-1. Abbeville Christian Academy lost 8-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Lee-Scott Academy (Auburn, AL)
