Northern Lehigh Bulldogs (Slatington, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pen Argyl Green Knights (Pen Argyl, PA), 13-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame-Green Pond for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. Northern Lehigh will clash with a Crusaders team coming off a 11-3 league loss to Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-4.

In their next game, the Green Knights clash with the Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 20. Pen Argyl will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Spartans come into the game with a 5-5 record after their 15-1 league win over Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA).
