The Salt Fork Storm softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Oakwood Comets to 7 in the Storm league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Salt Fork moves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Storm host Marshall (Marshall, IL) to clash with the Lions in a non-league game on Saturday, April 20. The Lions come into the game with a record of 12-5. Marshall won 3-0 in their recent league game against Lawrenceville (Lawrenceville, IL)

In their next game, the Comets clash with the Schlarman Hilltoppers (Danville, IL) in a Vermilion Valley game, on Monday, April 22. Oakwood will attempt to move on its 4-15 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the game with a 0-5 record after their 7-4 league loss to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL).
