The Olympic Trojans routed the host Shelton Highclimbers softball squad by a count of 18-5 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Trojans (8-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kingston (Kingston, WA). The Buccaneers go into the 2A Olympic battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Kingston topped North Mason (Belfair, WA), 8-2, in a league battle.

The Highclimbers now sport a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Centralia for a 2A Evergreen battle on Monday, April 22. Shelton will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 10-5 league win over Black Hills (Tumwater, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 3-3.
