Tennessee High School Baseball - Canfield defeats Jefferson County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Canfield Cardinals (Canfield, OH) and the host Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN), saw Canfield's baseball team gain a win over Jefferson County by a tally of 16-8.
The Cardinals (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Struthers (Struthers, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 4-7 record.
Next, the Patriots face the Sevier County Smoky Bears (Sevierville, TN) in a 4A District 2 challenge, on Monday, April 21. Jefferson County will attempt to better on its 12-11 season record. The Smoky Bears go into the challenge with a 14-14 record after their 14-11 non-league win over Canfield (Canfield, OH).
