In Saturday's league game, the host Canterbury School Saints baseball team scored a nice 9-1 win over the Williston Northampton Wildcats.
The Saints (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Cheshire Academy (Cheshire, CT). The Cats go into the Western New England game with a 13-0 record. In their last game, Cheshire Academy knocked off Salisbury School (Salisbury, CT), 5-2, in a league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the Pomfret School Griffins (Pomfret, CT) in a Western New England game, on Wednesday, April 23. Williston Northampton will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Griffins go into the game with a 6-4 record after their 5-2 league loss to Millbrook School (Millbrook, NY).
