Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY), 8-2 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Estill County advances its record to 9-6 on the season. The Engineers travel to Corbin (Corbin, KY) to battle the Redhounds in a non-league match on Saturday, April 19. The Redhounds come into the match with a record of 9-8. Corbin lost 8-4 in their recent non-league match against West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY)

The Jaguars now have a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dixie Heights for a non-league match on Monday, April 21. Cooper will battle a Colonels squad coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Colonels record now stands at 6-11.
