New York High School Baseball - Ichabod Crane nips Coxsackie-Athens

The Ichabod Crane Riders baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks to 2 in the Riders non-league win on Saturday.
The Riders now own a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Columbia for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Ichabod Crane will clash with a Blue Devils team coming off a 6-3 league loss to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 2-3.
With the defeat, Coxsackie-Athens drops to 6-3 on the year. The Riverhawks host Catskill (Catskill, NY) to clash with the Cats in a Section 2 Patroon test on Monday, April 21. The Cats go into the test with a record of 4-4. Catskill lost 11-6 in their recent non-league test against Albany (Albany, NY)
