In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Dundee-Crown Chargers baseball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Palatine Pirates.
The Chargers (9-5) will now prepare for their game against McHenry (McHenry, IL). The Warriors go into the Fox Valley - Valley game with a 14-2 record. In their last game, McHenry nudged Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL), 8-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Pirates play the Barrington Fillies/Broncos (Barrington, IL) in a Mid-Suburban - West game, on Monday, April 21. Palatine will attempt to improve on its 12-4 season record. The Fillies/Broncos go into the game with a 10-4 record after their 5-2 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
