Michigan High School Baseball - Waverly wallops Eastern

The Waverly Warriors (Lansing, MI) baseball trounced the host Eastern Quakers (Lansing, MI), 18-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they host Grand Ledge for a Capital Area - Blue challenge on Monday, April 21. Waverly will clash with a Comets team coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to West Ottawa (Holland, MI). The Comets record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Eastern drops to 0-6 on the year. The Quakers travel to Williamston (Williamston, MI) to clash with the Hornets in a Capital Area - Red challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Hornets come into the contest with a record of 11-1. Williamston won 10-3 in their recent non-league contest against Dansville (Dansville, MI)
