The Grain Valley Eagles baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars to 6 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.

The Eagles now hold a 10-8 record. They take the field next when they host Ruskin for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Grain Valley will play a Golden Eagles team coming off a 13-2 non-league loss to Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 0-16.

With the defeat, Fort Zumwalt West drops to 16-4 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Troy-Buchanan (Troy, MO) to play the Trojans in a Class 6 District 4 test on Tuesday, April 22. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 8-10. Troy-Buchanan lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Fort Zumwalt East (St. Peters, MO)
