Washington High School Baseball - Gig Harbor defeats Port Angeles

The Gig Harbor Tides baseball team scored 8 runs and held the host Port Angeles Roughriders to 1 in the Tides non-league win on Saturday.
The Tides now hold a 16-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Kitsap for a 3A Puget Sound - Narrows test on Tuesday, April 22. Gig Harbor will play a Cougars team coming off a 8-7 non-league loss to Olympic (Bremerton, WA). The Cougars record now stands at 7-7.
With the defeat, Port Angeles drops to 3-8 on the year. The Roughriders host Olympic (Bremerton, WA) to play the Trojans in a 2A Olympic test on Tuesday, April 22. The Trojans go into the test with a record of 6-6. Olympic won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against Central Kitsap (Silverdale, WA)
