The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI) and the visiting Kellogg Panthers (Delton, MI), saw Hastings's baseball team gain a win over Kellogg by a tally of 14-4.
The Saxons (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Northwest (Jackson, MI). The Mounties enter the Interstate 8 battle with a 2-2 record.
Next, the Panthers face the Saugatuck Trailblazers (Saugatuck, MI) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 22. Kellogg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Trailblazers enter the battle with a 5-6 record after their 6-2 league win over Fennville (Fennville, MI).
