The Lexington Minutemen baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies to 4 in the Minutemen non-league win on Saturday.

The Minutemen now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Perkins for a non-league test on Saturday, April 26.

With the defeat, Johnstown-Monroe moves to 6-4 on the season. The Johnnies travel to Newark Catholic (Newark, OH) to battle the Green Wave in a Licking County match on Monday, April 21. The Green Wave come into the match with a record of 5-4. Newark Catholic lost 6-5 in their recent league match against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH)
