With the triumph, La Mirada advances its record to 18-6 on the season. The Matadores travel to Bellflower (Bellflower, CA) to battle the Buccaneers in a Gateway match on Monday, April 21. The Buccaneers come into the match with a record of 9-12. Bellflower lost 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Royal (Simi Valley, CA)

The Wildcats now have a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hart for a Foothill match on Wednesday, April 23. West Ranch will battle a Hawks squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Ventura (Ventura, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 11-8.
