The Northern Garrett Huskies baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Cougars to 4 in the Huskies non-league win on Saturday.
The Huskies now hold a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Meyersdale for a non-league test on Monday, April 21. Northern Garrett will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Southern (Oakland, MD). The Red Raiders record now stands at 5-5.
With the defeat, Lincoln drops to 8-9 on the year. The Cougars travel to Preston (Kingwood, WV) to play the Knights in a Big Ten test on Monday, April 21. The Knights go into the test with a record of 5-5. Preston won 12-2 in their recent league test against Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV)
