California High School Baseball - Linfield Christian holds off Rancho Christian

In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Linfield Christian Lions baseball team scored a close 7-3 win over the Rancho Christian Eagles.

The Lions (13-5) will now prepare for their game against Ontario Christian (Ontario, CA). The Knights go into the Ambassador game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Ontario Christian was overwhelmed by Arrowhead Christian (Redlands, CA), 3-2, in a league game.

Next, the Eagles play the Perris Panthers (Perris, CA) in a Inland Valley game, on Tuesday, April 22. Rancho Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 2-15 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Temecula Prep (Winchester, CA).
