The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Windsor Wizards (Windsor, CO) and the host Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO), saw Windsor's baseball team gain a win over Mead by a tally of 6-2.

The Wizards (13-3) will now prepare for their battle against Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO). The Lobos enter the 5A/4A Northern battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Rocky Mountain was overwhelmed by Fossil Ridge (Fort Collins, CO), 15-13, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Mead drops to 10-5 on the year. The Mavericks travel to Horizon (Thornton, CO) to clash with the Hawks in a 5A Granite Peaks challenge on Tuesday, April 22. The Hawks go into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Horizon lost 13-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Holy Family (Broomfield, CO)
