In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Rogers City Hurons baseball team scored a close 3-2 win over the Merrill Vandals.
The Hurons (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Newaygo (Newaygo, MI). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
Next, the Vandals play the Holton Red Devils (Holton, MI) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 19. Merrill will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
