The Plainfield Central Wildcats (Plainfield, IL) baseball trounced the visiting Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL), 10-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 13-3 record. They take the field next when they host Plainfield East for a Southwest Prairie challenge on Monday, April 21. Plainfield Central will clash with a Bengals team coming off a 10-1 non-league loss to Naperville Central (Naperville, IL). The Bengals record now stands at 4-12.

With the defeat, Oak Lawn drops to 6-10 on the year. The Spartans host Shepard (Palos Heights, IL) to clash with the Astros in a South Suburban - Red challenge on Monday, April 21. The Astros go into the challenge with a record of 7-5. Shepard won 11-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Kennedy (Chicago, IL)
