In Saturday's non-league bout, the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) baseball squad edged the visiting Milpitas Trojans (Milpitas, CA), by a tally of 5-4.
Next up, the Cougars encounter the Monte Vista Christian Mustangs (Watsonville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 22. Evergreen Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the bout with a 3-10 record after their 9-0 league loss to North Monterey County (Castroville, CA).
The Trojans (2-12) will now prepare for their bout against Los Altos (Los Altos, CA). The Eagles enter the bout with a 9-5 record. In their last bout, Los Altos was nudged by Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA), 4-3, in a non-league bout.
