The Logan County Cougars baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Russell County Lakers to 4 in the Cougars non-league win on Saturday.

The Cougars now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Todd County Central for a test on Monday, April 21.

With the defeat, Russell County drops to 3-1 on the year. The Lakers travel to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 22. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 3-1. Cumberland County won 6-4 in their recent non-league test against McCreary Central (Stearns, KY)
