The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Cranston West Falcons (Cranston, RI) and the visiting Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI), observed Cranston West's softball team get by Cumberland by a tally of 8-4.

The Falcons (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Skippers go into the non-league bout with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, North Kingstown was routed by Westerly (Westerly, RI), 15-5, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Clippers battle the Pilgrim Patriots (Warwick, RI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 21. Cumberland will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Coventry (Coventry, RI).
