The Hinsdale Central Red Devils softball team scored 17 runs and held the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets to 1 in the Red Devils non-league win on Saturday.

The Red Devils now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oak Park-River Forest for a non-league battle on Monday, April 21. Hinsdale Central will confront a Huskies team coming off a 5-3 non-league win over Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Hinsdale South moves to 1-4 on the season. The Hornets host Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to confront the Celtics in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 22. The Celtics come into the battle with a record of 2-0. Providence Catholic won 20-8 in their recent non-league battle against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL)
